Richard has bred Montbeliardes at Woodeaves Farm for many years running the Wolfdale prefix, with the sale featuring many pedigree and classified cows including 6 EX cows and over 15 VG animals. The herd displays all the well known traits of the Montbeliarde being strong in stature and good on their feet.
The herd is cubicle housed and milked via a herringbone parlour with management based on maize and grass silage with concentrates fed in parlour. Milk recorded with CIS the herd 12 month rolling average is currently running at 5791kg 4.17%F 3.55%P cc181 With the latest bulk sample showing a quality of 3.97%F 3.46%P cc157.
