A great opportunity to see Montbeliardes in action, the herd of 130 milkers is averaging 8500 litres, grazed through summer and focussed on maintaining milk solids to fulfill their cheese contract.
The longevity of the breed will also be showcased with 20% of the herd in their 4th lactation and above and investment in the farm’s infrastructure in recent years including the new shed and parlour, means this years open day will without doubt be an interesting one!
